Heritage Park Story Trail

Visitors to Heritage Park will be able to read a book as they travel the BRAND NEW story trail, step-by- step and page-by-page around the large pond. The debut book is the Bear and the Piano by David Litchfield.

Presented in partnership by Canton Leisure Services, Canton Public Library, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, the Heritage Park Story Trail consists of a few pages of a featured book that are posted at several stations along the trail, allowing families and friends to enjoy a special story as they walk the path and take in fresh air and scenery of the park. Complete the path and you have walked a half mile! The story begins in the park on the path just west of the Canton Public Library. Stations include a map directing readers to the next location.

This project would not be possible without our generous sponsors: Blue Cross Blue Shield, The Canton Public Library, Canton Historical Society, Canton Lions Club, Dominos, Fast Signs, Friends of the Library, IHA, Nephrology & Critical Care PLLC, and Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea.
